Some covens prefer to have a person with each (or one person with several) of these abilites and it is a pretty good thing. There are 13 in all.

Astral Travel and Bi-location: This is the ability to leave your body and travel on the astral plane. This is one of those abilities that can take a lifetime to master.

The Caller: The ability to invoke and communicate with the God and Goddess.

The Charger: The ability to Charge objects and release energy out of a circle from a group of people.

Divination: It is not reading the future. Rather it is the ability to read the past and the present. Also to determine the outcome of current situations with great accuracy. Divination can be accomplished with Tarot cards, a pendulum, I Ching, runes or even chocolate what you read is not as important as how. Play around with different things and see what is comfortable for you.

Empathy: Another ability that can take a lifetime to master. This goes way beyond sympathy. You can have empathy for someone with out having sympathy. This is feeling the feelings and even the pain of another soul not experiencing them. You will need to learn to master your inner dialog so you can feel without taking the pain of others as your own. You almost need a clinical detachment. Empathy is not living your life with everyone's emotions but your own. You should not feel what they are feeling in the literal sense. If you start getting too deeply into another's emotions you will lose yourself in what they feel. So you have to be careful.

Grounding: The ability to ground large amounts of energy.

The Healer: Some have the ability to heal and soothe by touch. Others take different healing paths; healers are always drawn to some area of science, this includes herbalists. Since this is path I have taken I'll have a larger area of this on another page.

The Psychic Warrior: This is someone with the ability to see things on the astral plane that can harm us and deal with them. This is an easy task to learn for males, it is often one of the first things a young man will perfect.

Psychometry: The ability to achieve a "connection" to a soul through an object they either owned or have touched. Remember when you try this that you are getting ALL of the information from the object. How old is it? Where was it before? You are getting those vibrations too. A word of CAUTION: The way to learn this ability is NOT by handling something that caused pain or been touched by someone that had been in pain before.

Telekinesis: The ability to move things with your mind. (I've yet to see a believable example of this but I'm sure it's out there.)

Telepathy: This is the ability to read thought. It requires a placid mind and concentration.

Totem: The ability to communicate with animals and feel their emotions.
